Police and Crime Commissioner Grant Funding

The Police and Crime Commissioner, Michael Lane, has established two funds to make communities safer, the Safer Communities Fund and the Supporting Communities Small Grants Fund.  He is inviting communities to apply before the 31st October 2017.

Safer Communities Fund

The Police and Crime Commissioner launched a new funding round for 2018/19 to support victims and reduce offending. He is looking for new, innovative and exciting approaches, as well as approaches that have been proven to work.

Applications are welcomed for funding between £500 and £50,000 and can be submitted between today, Monday 2 October and Tuesday 31 October at 16:00.

 Supporting Communities Small Grants Fund

The Supporting Communities grant fund provides the opportunity for local community groups and local police officers to apply for small amounts of funding, via an easy and accessible process, for a one-off projects or expenses that support the Commissioner’s priorities.

The Commissioner will be accepting applications to the Supporting Communities Grant Fund throughout 2017/18. The maximum amount of funding that can be applied for per application is £500.
