Update: Carriageway Works in Appley Rise, Ryde
We are writing to update you on the current post-works in Appley Rise, Ryde following the recent carriageway resurfacing scheme.
As the road is in a conservation area, the post-works being undertaken are to even out the carriageway surface in relation to the original stone channels along the road. We have made the decision to undertake this further work in order to maintain the original characteristics of the road.
We are aiming to complete these works by Friday 14th June 2019. Both vehicular and pedestrian access will be maintained during these works, though delays are possible.
Please be aware that our programme can be affected by various external influences. Whilst we endeavour to keep to the allocated timeframe, please take note of the advanced signage in the area for date updates to the scheme.
We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused and appreciate your patience in this matter.
