Full Council – all 16 councillors make up the Full Town Council, which makes all the key decisions.
Meetings are chaired by the Mayor, and are open to the public unless confidential matters are being discussed. The Town Council meets on the first Monday of every month and members of the public are encouraged to attend and ask questions.

In accordance with the Openness of Local Government Bodies Regulations 2014 the Council are required to allow any member of the public to take photographs, film and audio record and report the proceedings at all public meetings. It would be helpful if any member of the public that wishes to film or auto record a meeting lets the Town Council know so that arrangements can be made to provide reasonable facilities to facilitate this reporting. Reasonable facilities include space to hear and view a meeting, seats and a desk.
