Rink Road, Ryde, (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2021 Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0900 hours from Monday 14 June 2021 until 1700 hours on Friday 25 June 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Rink Road between its junctions with Westhill Road and Rink Road Industrial Estate. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works. 

Great Preston Road, Ryde, (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2021 Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours from Monday 07 June 2021 until Sunday 20 June 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Great Preston Road for its entire length. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works.

Ashey Road, Ryde, (Temporary One Way Restriction) Order No 1 2021 Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1000 hours until 1400 hours on Sunday 13 June 2021, or when the event has been completed, a one-way restriction will be introduced along Ashey Road, in a northbound direction, between its junction with East Ashey Lane and the entrance of Smallbrook Stadium. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The restriction is required for safety during an on-road running event.

Various Streets, Ryde,(Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 11 2021Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that:

  • Thornton Close – from 0700 hours from Monday 07 June 2021 until 1700 hours on Sunday 15 August 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Thornton Close for its entire length;
  •  Woodland Close – from 0700 hours from Monday 07 June 2021 until 1700 hours on Sunday 15 August 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Woodland Close for its entire length;
  • Puckpool Close – from 0700 hours from Monday 07 June 2021 until 1700 hours on Sunday 15 August 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Puckpool Close for its entire length;
  •  Puckpool Hill – from 0700 hours from Monday 07 June 2021 until 1700 hours on Sunday 15 August 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Puckpool Hill for its entire length;
  • Marina Avenue– from 0700 hours from Monday 07 June 2021 until 1700 hours on Sunday 15 August 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Marina Avenue for its entire length. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. Works to be undertaken in phased stages. The closure is required for safety during utility works.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 04 June 2021 and Friday 16 July 2021 the following restrictions will be in place for both day and night for a period of approximately six weeks, or when the works have been completed, for safety during footway re-surfacing works. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works.  In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and advanced warning signs before the scheme commences:

  • Church Lane, Ryde, (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions Order No 2 2021 – Church Lane for its entire length. The restriction is required for safety during footway re-surfacing works.
  • South Street, Ryde, (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions Order No 1 2021 – South Street for its entire length. The restriction is required for safety during footway re-surfacing works.
  • Yelfs Road, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions Order No 1 2021 – Yelfs Road for its entire length. The restriction is required for safety during footway re-surfacing works.
