Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0900 hours from Wednesday 26 May 2021 until 1700 hours on Friday 28 May 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Bank Gardens, for its entire length. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works.

Lower Highland Road, Ryde, (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2021
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0900 hours from Monday 24 May 2021 until 1630 hours on Friday 28 May 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Lower Highland Road for its entire length. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works.

Quarry Road, Ryde, (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2021
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours from Wednesday 19 May 2021 until 2000 hours on Monday 24 May 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Quarry Road between its junctions with Sandcroft Avenue and Longmead Road. Rowlands Lane, Ryde, (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2021
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0900 hours from Monday 17 May 2021 until 1700 hours on Thursday 20 May 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Rowlands Road between its junctions with Ryde Footpath 12 and Ryde Footpath 13. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works.

Benett Street, Ryde, (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2021
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0600 hours until 1700 hours, each day, from Wednesday 19 May 2021 until Tuesday 25 May 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Benett Street, for its entire length. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during ironwork and carriageway repair works. 

The Isle of Wight Council (Bellevue Road, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 3 2021
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0830 hours from Tuesday 25 May 2021 until 0830 hours on 21 June 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Bellevue Road, between its junctions with Nelson Place and Nelson Street. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during scaffolding works.

The Isle of Wight Council (Carters Road, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 4 2021
sland Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours until 2300 hours, for one day, from Tuesday 25 May 2021 until Thursday 27 May 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Carters Road between its junctions with Ashey Road and Upton Road. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during ironwork repairs. 

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0600 hours and 1800 hours on approximately five to ten days, or when the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner; that no vehicle or person may use, or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs. The closures are for carriageway and footway repairs, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works between Friday 14 May 2021 and Friday 25 June 2021. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and advanced warning signs before the scheme commences. It may be necessary to close this section of road on more than one occasion within this timeframe:

  • Bellevue Road, Ryde, (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 2 2021 – Bellevue Road, for its entire length.The restriction is required for safety during carriageway resurfacing works.
  • Dover Street, Ryde, (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 5 2021 – Dover Street between its junctions with Melville Street and Castle Street. The restriction is required for safety during carriageway resurfacing works.
  • Nelson Street, Ryde, (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 2 2021 – Nelson Street between its junctions with Melville Street and Castle Street. The restriction is required for safety during carriageway resurfacing works.
  • Solent Close, Ryde (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2021 – Solent Close, for its entire length. The restriction is required for safety during carriageway resurfacing works.
  • Royal Walk, Ryde,(Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2021 – Royal Walk, for its entire length. The restriction is required for safety during carriageway resurfacing works.
  • Queens Walk, Ryde, (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2021 – Queens Walk, for its entire length. The restriction is required for safety during carriageway resurfacing works.
  • Marina Avenue, Ryde, (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 2 2021 – Marina Avenue, for its entire length. The restriction is required for safety during carriageway resurfacing works.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 21 May 2021 and Friday 02 July 2021 the following restrictions will be in place for both day and night for a period of approximately six weeks, or when the works have been completed, for safety during footway re-surfacing works. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works.  In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and advanced warning signs before the scheme commences:

  • The Isle of Wight Council (Alfred Street, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions Order No 2 2021 – Alfred Street, for its entire length. The restriction is required for safety during footway re-surfacing works.
