Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0700 hours from Wednesday 07 April 2021 until 1700 hours on Monday 26 April 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Sadlers Close, for its entire length. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works.

Arundel Close, Ryde, Isle of Wight (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2021

  • Grenville Drive – 0800 hours from Tuesday 06 April 2021 until 1700 hours on Sunday 18 April 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Grenville Drive for its entire length;
  • Wrexham Avenue – 0800 hours from Tuesday 06 April 2021 until 1700 hours on Sunday 18 April 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Wrexham Avenue for its entire length.The alternative routes, where applicable, will be sign posted locally. The closures are required for safety during fibre utility works.

Carters Road, Ryde, Isle of Wight (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2021
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0800 and 2300 hours for one day, from Tuesday 30 March 2021 until Thursday 01 April 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Carters Road between its junctions with Ryde Footpath 34 and Gatehouse Road. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

Union Road, Ryde, Isle of Wight (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic and Temporary Revocation of One-Way) Order No 1 2021
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that a) between 0800 and 2300 hours, for one day, from Tuesday 06 April  2021 until Thursday 08 April 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Union Road, between its junctions with Castle Street and Cross Street; b) between 0800 and 2300 hours, for one day, from Tuesday 06 April 2021 until Thursday 08 April 2021, or when the works has been completed, the one-way restriction will be revoked along Union Road, between its junctions with Castle Street and Cross Street. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during footway repairs

Castle Street, Ryde, Isle of Wight (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2021
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice thatbetween 0800 and 2300 hours, for one day, from Wednesday 07 April  2021 until Friday 09 April 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Castle Street between its junctions with Dover Street and George Street. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during footway repairs.

The Isle of Wight Council (Playstreet Lane, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions Order No 1 2021 – Playstreet Lane for its entire length. The restriction is required for safety during footway resurfacing works. Between Friday 01 April 2021 and Friday 14 May 2021, the following restriction will be in place for both day and night for a period of approximately six weeks, or when the works have been completed.
