Newnham Lane, Binstead, (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2021 Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours until 2300 hours, for one day, from Monday 09 August 2021 until Wednesday 11 August 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Newnham Lane for its entire length. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs. 

Carters Road, Ryde, (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 5 2021 Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours until 2300 hours, for one day, from Tuesday 10 August 2021 until Thursday 12 August 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Carters Road between its junctions with Ashey Road and Ryde Footpath 34. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs. 

 Rowlands Lane, Ryde, (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2021  Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours until 2300 hours, for one day, from Monday 09 August 2021 until Wednesday 11 August 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Rowlands Lane between its junctions with Pondcast Lane and Downs Road. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0600 hours and 1800 hours on approximately five to ten days, or when the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner; that no vehicle or person may use, or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs. The closures are for carriageway and footway repairs, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works between Friday 06 August 2021 and Saturday 17 September 2021. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and advanced warning signs before the scheme commences. It may be necessary to close this section of road on more than one occasion within this timeframe:

  • Pell Lane, Ryde, (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 3 2021 – Pell Lanefor its entire length. The restriction is required for safety during carriageway resurfacing works.
  • Grange Avenue, Binstead, (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2021 – Grange Avenue between its junctions with Winston Road and Pell Lane. The restriction is required for safety and support during carriageway resurfacing works.
  • Mayfield Road, Ryde, (Temporary Revocation of One-Way Restriction and No Waiting At Any Time) Order No 1 2021 – Mayfield Road between its junctions with St Vincents Road and Pell Lane. The restriction is required for safety and support during carriageway resurfacing works.
  • Pellhurst Road, Ryde, (Temporary No Waiting At Any Time) Order No 1 2021 – Pellhurst Road between its junctions with Ratcliffe Avenue and Arthur Street. The restriction is required for safety and support during carriageway resurfacing works.
  • Jellicoe Road, Binstead, (Temporary No Waiting At Any Time) Order No 1 2021 – Jellicoe Road for its entire length. The restriction is required for safety and support during carriageway resurfacing works.

Various Streets, Ryde, (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 14 2021 Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that

  • Ampthill Road – from 0800 hours from Monday 09 August 2021 until 1700 hours on Friday 27 August 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Ampthill Road for its entire length;
  • Appley Rise – from 0800 hours from Monday 23 August 2021 until 1700 hours on Friday 08 October 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Appley Rise for its entire length. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works.
