Planning and Administration Assistant

Ryde Town Council wishes to recruit a suitably experienced individual to provide a range of support duties to the Town Council’s Planning Clerk and Committee and to assist the Council with its input into strategic planning matters. The candidate will be required to provide administrative support to other committees and working groups and will need to be able to work in the Councils public facing office.

The position is for 37 hours per week, but must fit around the need to attend regular evening meetings as required.

A good understanding of the role and functions of a parish council will be required and knowledge of local Planning Authority regulations would be an advantage.
