Great Preston Road, Ryde, (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2021 Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours from Monday 07 June 2021 until Sunday 20 June 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Great Preston Road for its entire length. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works.

Pell Lane, Ryde, (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2021 Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours until 2300 hours, for one day, from Wednesday 02 June 2021 until Friday 04 June 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Pell Lane between its junctions with Coach House Lane and Tandy Close. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

Arthur Street, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions Order No 2 2021 – Arthur Street for its entire length. The restriction is required for safety during carriageway re-surfacing works. Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0600 hours and 1800 hours on approximately five to ten days, or when the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner; that no vehicle or person may use, or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs.   • Thornton Close  from 0700 hours from Monday 07 June 2021 until 1700 hours on Sunday 15 August 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Thornton Close for its entire length;
  •  Woodland Close from 0700 hours from Monday 07 June 2021 until 1700 hours on Sunday 15 August 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Woodland Close for its entire length;
  •  Puckpool Close from 0700 hours from Monday 07 June 2021 until 1700 hours on Sunday 15 August 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Puckpool Close for its entire length;
  •  Puckpool Hill from 0700 hours from Monday 07 June 2021 until 1700 hours on Sunday 15 August 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Puckpool Hill for its entire length;
  •  Marina Avenue from 0700 hours from Monday 07 June 2021 until 1700 hours on Sunday 15 August 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Marina Avenue for its entire length. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. Works to be undertaken in phased stages. The closure is required for safety during utility works.

Various Streets, Ryde, (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 11 2021 Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that

  • Longmead Road from 0800 hours from Thursday 03 June 2021 until 2000 hours on Friday 18 June 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Longmead Road for its entire length;
  •  Ratcliffe Avenue from 0800 hours from Friday 11 June 2021 until 2000 hours on Thursday 24 June 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Ratcliffe Avenue, between its junctions with Swanmore Road and Pellhurst Road. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works.

No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works.  In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and advanced warning signs before the scheme commences:

  • Church Lane, Ryde, (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions Order No 2 2021 – Church Lane for its entire length. The restriction is required for safety during footway re-surfacing works.
  • South Street, Ryde, (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions Order No 1 2021 – South Street for its entire length. The restriction is required for safety during footway re-surfacing works.
  • Yelfs Road, Ryde, (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions Order No 1 2021 – Yelfs Road for its entire length. The restriction is required for safety during footway re-surfacing works.
